      <title>New Viability PCR for Chlamydia trachomatis</title>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>We developed a viability PCR (V-PCR) that rapidly distinguishes viable&amp;nbsp;<em>Chlamydia trachomatis</em>&amp;nbsp;from residual DNA in anorectal swabs from MSM. This method improves diagnostic accuracy, supports antimicrobial stewardship, and reduces unnecessary treatments.
